Hip Hop incorporates different elements of art like DJing, rapping, B-boying and graffiti art. Today Hip Hop is as mainstream as any other music genre and dance form. The movement has seen considerable change and evolution since its inception and has become a global phenomenon. To this day, hip hop continues to be a dominant force influencing the culture around the world.

Kianna Lee
Ms. Kianna began dancing at the age of two with ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop classes. Later she began training and competing in the styles of lyrical, contemporary, and pom. While attending the University of California she was a member of the UCSB Dance Team. During her junior year she became the coach of the student run competitive team and discovered her passion for coaching. After completing her Bachelor of Arts in Communications at UCSB, she went on to become a professional dancer for the Los Angeles Lakers for three years. Following her professional dance career Ms. Kianna has been teaching dance camps for middle schools and high school dance teams across the United States, and continues to teach students of all ages in ballet, jazz, hip hop, and pom.
